EMAIL SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Setting up your mail accounts in Microsoft Outlook . If you use another mail client, such as. Eudora or Mac Entourage , the settings would be the same as shown here

Click on "Tools" then "Accounts"
   
Click on "Add" then "Mail"
   

Enter your display name

Click Next

   

Enter your email address

Click Next

   

Incoming mail server is a "POP3" server

Incoming mail POP3 server, enter

mail.domainname.ext

Outgoing SMTP server, enter

mail.domainname.ext

ie:
mail.werweb.com or mail.werweb.net

Click Next

   

Enter your account name and password

Your account name is your full email address

ie:
webmaster@werweb.com

Click Next

   

Choose your internet connection preference

Click next then finish

   

After you click finish, you will see this screen again

Highlight the mail account just created then click on
"Properties"

   

Click on the "Servers" Tab

Make sure the box is checked for "My server requires authentication"

Click on the "Settings" tab

This should default to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" If not, make sure that this radio button is checked

Click Apply

Then Click Close

 

   

On the Advanced tab, make sure:

Outgoing port is set to 25

Incoming port is set to 110

Click OK

Then Click Close

Your Email has now been configured, check it out by trying to send and receive email using your new email account. If you have any problems, go through and make sure everything is set correctly.
